It’s possible you’ll be stunned—as we have been—that this idyllic, design-forward property we’ve been following on Instagram is, in reality, a golf course. It simply stands out as the best-looking one we’ve ever seen.
Inness, a rural retreat in Accord, New York, is located in 225 acres and likewise has 28 cabins, a 12-bedroom farmhouse, a restaurant and clubhouse, swimming swimming pools, tennis courts, climbing trails, an natural farm and farm store, and, quickly, a spa and wellness middle. It’s the work of a slew of standout designers—restaurateur (and skilled architect) Taavo Somer, panorama designer Miranda Brooks, and design studio Post Company, amongst others—and is called for the panorama painter George Inness.
Don’t let phrases like “clubhouse” dissuade you. The interiors are rustic and quiet, early American farmhouse meets Scandinavia—far faraway from the nation membership aesthetic.
Have a look.
